Please Lord?

When I ask something from the God, when I pray to the Lord, should I use the word “please”? Should I ask “nicely”? If I ask something from my parents I usually use “please”, or for that matter most people I ask something from. However, I cannot remember when was the last time I used “please” (Afrikaans: “asseblief”) in prayer. So I've been thinking why this is. I also cannot remember if I ever heard any uncomprimising truth preacher ask “please” from God.

What I think is as follows. Firstly, we generally ask “please” if the answer may be negitave, in fact, appart from “good manners” we usually use this word in order to convince the person we ask from. To be honest I guess, even if we're pretty sure about a positive answer, we still ask “please”.

What do you think? Should I use “please”? When you ask our Loving Father for something, do you say “please"?
